One of my grad school buddies did it while he was still a student. He didn't have insurance, but it didn't cost him very much. Disclaimer "It is all based on what he told me". As Yuvaraj said talk to them and find out if they have some kind of monthly payment system. Dentists have the monthly payment system so find out if they have. Hope that helps
