i only had a chance to hike up to gosaikunda lakes in the langtang region. i really was hoping to go up to annapurna base camp, as the annapurna range became very meaningful to me since i could see it from my gau. but the timing didn't work out. hard to believe in over 2 years, but it's true.

I have been home few times. I got an oppurtunity to do Thorung La in 1999. One of the best times of my life. Will do it again at heart beat. Thinking of EBC next year. I'm out of MD (DC Suburb). You know we've must have annoyed the hell out of some people with this thread, but hell with them, been too long, its sweet to remember old times, another reason i started smell thread but didn't go much far.
