Here are some of the stocks that showed up on my buy scan. We may have seen the low but it is possible that we see one more sell-off to wash the weak hands. Currently I am doing intraday trades  from the long side only. If S&P closes below 800, I'll stay on the sidelines.

If the market goes up from here these stocks should easily double. The holding period is at least 1 year (if profitable). Put these stocks on your watch list and when you see a pattern as described on the follwing link, you can buy. ALWAYS use stop losses. Stops should be somewhere between the low of the cup and low of the handle. This pattern is described in detail in William O Neil's book, "How to make money in stocks". You can probably get it from your local library or buy one...it is worth the money. If you are patient and wait for the right time you should do pretty good at the end.

If you find other stocks that have a similar pattern, please post it here.

Thanks for all the emails.

fortunefaded,
good job. actually i was fretting over yesterday. but anyway read it over @ http://thapap.blogspot.com/

now i think you are little early on calling total downturn. (O: i know its headed lower but i do not think its going to be straight path to 82. there are still some retailers buying on the dip. these retailers has to be made the bag holders hence it will not be a straight down.

i also believe that 875 (prior resistance) is going to act as a great support plus remember that it has not broken yet 20 DMA.

if 20DMA is broken and 875 is breached then only we are headed lower.

database,
good luck on your buy. (O: hope you are able to get in and get out with profit. i would not be staying long in this market at least until i get the direction. just my 0.02

I went and looked back at the 3 stocks that I mentioned last Sunday. I noticed that I was looking at the daily chart instead of the weekly chart that I had mentioned earlier. Had we gone by the weekly chart, we would not have bought any stocks this week. The prices never went to the trigger price.

I apologize for the mistake because I know few people actually took the trade. I will be posting new picks on my blog.

database,
That's a smart decision. Looking at the daily volume on SPY, it looks like the rally is losing steam.
Sure you see headlines of DOW gaining 240 points, but look at the volume on SPY. It's the LOWEST since the March rally started. What this means is that the upward momentum is definitely getting weak. The amateurs are getting sucked in. I would buy long until I see some good volume.

Regards,
FF

FF,

There have been many rallies on low volume. Volume is important during break-outs. The market is in an uptrend, just buy the few days sell-off. We'll see 1000 before 800. My guess is that we will not see 800 for months/years. I have been long S&P futures from 880 and selling 1/4th every 20 points. This is not the time to short. The easy money has been made. We are going up from here. Listen to the market not the news/fundamentals/pundits.

Thanks FF and Emini for your thoughts...As per chart FF has posted,I am inclined to believe that there will still be a market correction which I consider as buying opportunities..And yes,as per Emini said, market seems to be moving higher.

But,I also see some rooms for short positions down the road even in bullish trend..

Please feel free to disagree..

Thanks

Does any body have experience using Zecco ? I am planning to get switched to Zecco from Ameritrade because of it's cheaper rate & 10 free trades each month for qualified member. Please have your opinions here.

danphe,

If you are looking for cheaper options, sogotrade is even cheaper. They just charge $3 per trade. I am not sure about the additional hidden costs but I would recommend you to have a look at it.

I have been using Zecco for about a month and they just charge $4.5 per trade. There are no additional costs involved (besides some insignificant transfer costs). I am also not in a position to give proper thoughts about zecco because I am new to trading itself, let alone zecco. So if anyone has any ideas please enlighten us.

Cheers!

HEB is supposed to get decision on tuesday either premarket or after market...

I got 5000 share @ .91

i got BDSI , ULU, XOMA, ADLS, SPPI too...

impeace,

I think these stocks are far better than betting your money in casino.. why dont you try some.. just spend couple hundred dollars that you always spend on bar every weekends... anyway their futures are solid with all those drugs most are in 3rd phase and HEB have ampligen.

Most of the investor will jump to BDSI after the FDA results for HEB. I think we will see significant increase in the PPS and volume even before the approval date.

Bokeshwore, Thanks for the suggestion but I do not have any idea about just2trade.com
I think zecco is good enough for newbie like me. By the way, how much just2trade.com charge per trade?

Guys, anybody tried Zecco?
