The generational divide between Hillary and Bernie is understandable, one reason being that younger generation is more accepting of the notion of revolution while the older generation flinches at the hint of agitating the equlibrium. The second reason is the negative connotation attached with the label "socialist". Bernie could have been more pragmatic and avoided the word "socialist" altogether.

What is astounding is the current racial divide among the democrats. So far, Bernie has won mostly the majority white states. He still hasn't been able to gather the support of people of color. It's hard to believe that the person who got arrested during a civil rights protest in his early 20's hasn't been able to appeal to the racial minorities. He lost in a progressive state like Massachusetts and is not favored to win New York. The Bernie campaign's strategy doesn't seem to be working. Why doesn't his campaign make an official ad with 1963's arrest video? Spreading negativity about your opponents hasn't worked for anyone in this election season. People are fed up with negative ads. Instead of trying to bring dishonour to Hillary's reputation, Bernie's campaign and supporters everywhere could focus on spreading the positive message: hope and inclusiveness; a future to believe in for everyone.
