Bernie's wife goes to an Arizona jail to observe inhuman condition of illegal immigrants, then she's approached by sheriff Joe. It's Sheriff Joe's jail, him having a conversation with a visitor to his jail who happens to be bernie's wife, I don't see any big deal here.
But bernie taking out on sheriff because his wife was approached by him during her visit to jail was plain unnecessary.
