Okay, I have another method for the first puzzle:
Let's assume that F was wearing Dhaka topi.
The only possible scenario in which first person T would be confused in this assumption is if he saw Bhad gaule in D. Since there are only two Dhaka topis.
Second person D knows this so if this was the case, he would be able to answer quite easily. Hence for the second person D to be confused F must be wearing Bhad gaule topi, otherwise there would be no confusion at all.
