Comparing degrees is very subjective, however, having saind that degrees earned in western countries sell more than from so-called third world countries including Nepal. Moreover, western countries have been able to innovate new courses, learn from other culture and teach in their nistitutions. For example, these days western universites are teaching Sun Tzu's strategies of war (borrowed from Chinese). University of Texax, Austin teaches Nepali language in their undergraduate course. Historically, cutlure of powerful countries have been more important than culture of poorer countries (military, economic, hegemonic etc). Degrees from those countries are part and partial of their culture. I don't know much about, however, thought to say my two paisa's worth.
