a Jesus lover who killed millions of Jews, inspite of Jesus being a Jew and Jews being the chosen ones of God, and never mind that Jesus never talked about killing others but forgiveness and compassion, yeah it makes perfect sense that Hitler did it in the name of Christianity. Refer back to my father/son analogy. 
Hitler was a politician, he needed votes, the only way he was going to achieve this was by being an imposter. He wanted to destroy the churches slowly. If you read his history, including the many letters, Atheist is what best describes him.
