Well, I blame the band itself. Amrit Gurung, the lead singer wrote a co-ed on MyRebuplic stating that the counsular officer should've "Googled" them on Youtube! Yo bhanda Ramailo guff k huna sakcha ra? Why the heck they would wanna bring five extra people?
They're expensive anyways. We wanted 'em to perform up here, were asked eight grand($8000) up front, 3 days 4 nights hotel room for 11 people , state-of-the-art lighting & sound system & a bigger concert hall(They wouldn't perform in any party palace unlike 1974 AD!) We calculated the income & expenditure ratio & approximate attendence and the result was DAMAGE to our wallets! We didn't care about making money but can't afford to lose money from own pockets!
I would suggest Band to apply again; this time only BAND MEMBERS not MANAGERS, COOK, SOUND ENGINEER, BLAH BLAH BLAH. I'm sure the embassy will issue visa in no time!
