This is what I've got in my email from the President, Nepalsese Association of Houston.

Dear friends,

F.Y.I.

The Houston Nepali Community is shocked and saddened by the news of the untimely demise of Mr. Pukar Chhetri, 22, a student of San Jacinto College South on August 10, 2010.  On behalf of Nepalese Association of Houston (NAH), I extend deepest condolences and sympathies to the family and friends of late Pukar Chhetri at their irreparable loss.  May his soul rest in eternal peace in the heavenly abode!

I am keeping in touch with Mr. Kiran Kasti, a long time friend and current roommate of latePukar Chhetri.  According to Kiran ji, Pukar's family's wish is for his body to sent back to Nepal for funeral services and final rites.  Therefore, Kiran Kasti ji and friends in San Jacinto College have set up a Web site with the link http://helppukarsfamily.weebly.com/.  I urge you to kindly visit this Web site and make a generous donation to make Pukar's body flown back to Nepal possible and his parent's wishes fulfilled.  Your help at this difficult time will count a lot and make a huge difference.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Kiran Kasti and friends for taking the initiative of contacting late Pukar's family and making the necessary arrangements to send his body back to Nepal.  My grateful appreciations also go to Gyanshor Shrestha ji (NAH V. P.) for finding out the procedure and the Nepali Ambassador to the U.S. His Excellency Dr. Shankar P. Sharma and his staff Mr. Ananda Sharma for expediting the process of issuing the "No Objection Letter" to meet the legal requirement in this process.

Best regards,

Rajendra Shrestha

President, Nepalsese Association of Houston
