My wholehearted sympathy to the families. Have they thought of contacting a local Nepalese society and ask them to do a nation-wide help campaign. In the past, Nepalese people have been united in helping a fellow Nepali in need. The Paypal site by itself does not look credible. If you could put an association behind it, maybe people would be more apt to giving to this dire cause.

There is also a disaster relief program through the Association of Nepalese in America (www.ana-online.com). You may want to contact Mr. Shimon Dhungana, the President of ANA, and he could steer you to a positive direction.

@Blingbling: If you disagree with someone, you can just say you disagree with it and not make up an excuse like "I'm not trying to be absurd but..." because the statement you made was already absurd. You didn't need to give it an excuse. We are an open forum in a civilized society. It is my hope that we understand there are dissent to situations.

With that said--a fire is a fire, whether in Nepal or America. These folks need help, and please give them unconditional support in this time of crisis.
