I thought I agreed with what you first said - but am I a bit uncertain about the net-net of your follow up comments. A lot of of people could have taken offense - yes, even in a family atmosphere - to some of that stuff. With achievement - be it social, financial, academic or any other type - comes responsibility and some would argue modesty. That is a very strong family value. It is in that spirit that I raised the issue. I take your point about the family atmosphere but what kind of family value is it that would tolerate looking down on others and applying double standards beats me. I really don't want to divert this thread to anything other than having fun but I sensed a tiny bit of veiled finger which is why this response. Tell me I shouldn't have and I will be happy to let it rest.
