I had vehicle accident in DC area. It was a small bump but the Kale in another vechle claiming $20,000 for his injury, loss of work…the case has gone to court in DC but now I live in Seattle but the lawyer from my insurance company wants me to appear in court in DC. I have to travel, take a leave from my work and my insurance company denied this expense and saying if I donot appear for the trial date the insurance company will not pay the money and I have to pay it. Is there any way I donot need to go to court? I don’t care if my insurance pay the claimed amount. I don’t want to go to DC court. Please suggest.
