Capt oh Capt! Lol-ing,, lol..ing & smilin'.. a bag of thanks and a bit! (Is that Queen's English or what?:-) No worries, I will come & visit you in your 'humble abode' on the Amalfi coast... and likewise, but hey, when in the sansaar am I going to win the lottery bhaneko? :-) So, the villa in Tuscany, the vineyard, the cianti bottles, Puccini and ..umm.. ahem ... a few gorgeous Padma Laxmis.. await your truly's arrival! I tell you what - if the lottery thingie were never to materialise, I suggest, you bring along a a few AK 47s and 94mms from across the samudra - from Amrikaa, a gun-loving country as it is! So I can go and rob the HSBC Bank. Sorted... :-) :-) Blimey! I trust that the weekend was a fruitful one - hope you made it to the venue at last. Was reading in the other thread that the Sajha lot from Boston were going to have a do - chip-in buffet or whatever somewhere, no? Good to hear the story about your colleague - and he had ex-marital flings eh... cheeky cheeky git! :-) The temptation is always there, isn't it but hey, we all want to do things that thrill us - the adrenaline, knowing all the while that danger lurks in there somewhere, forgetting the consequences of our actions however grave these may be! Oh I know, that will be a waste, won't it - having to take up a pursuit, knowing all the while that it would yield no meaningful dividends in life? Being less practical there I suppose but then keep hoping/dreaming is what you do when your options have all run their course - therein also lies peace for the ever hapless, helpless but hopeful heart...(look at the 'h' sound there - a perfect iambic pentametre eh! :-)).. so shall I still keep on hoping for those lottery millions to knock on my door? Both you and I would be a lot better off heading towards the pub for a few lager cans and a bit! G&T for me, thank you. On me, mate! :-) See, me too gone off tangent.. blame it on the Monday frenzy at the office. :-) Just had my dinner.. feeling sleepy already. Still busy nursing the bouts of sleep deprivation from the last couple of nights! The Christmas party season has kicked off massively - phew! Might now tune in to the Bocelli songs in the other thread... some Dean Martin maybe.. Hey have a cracking week, Capt.. Here's to good life and humour! Or 'humor' as you spell it there in Amrikaa.... :-) Carpe diem
