We can't go back and change history and it is not reasonable to expect the King's direct rule to return - unless you too are in denial :) I agree with your idea of UN involvement. That is exactly what they are trying to make happen in Nepal. I hope it works out. BTW, I was not in NYC either and when you say you are "just your average independent citizen voicing an opinion" , all I have to say is rock on! While I have chosen to take a stand on this issue, I too am an independent person who has opened his mind up to different possibilites and chosen the one he believes will work best for the country and its people.
