PIC-1...The name of the Nepal government based in Kathmandu was changed to Gorkha Sarkar after the Shah conquest in 1769. The name Gorkha Sarkar appears at the bottom of this stamp issued in 1907. PIC-2...The name Gorkha Sarkar was retained until 1930, when it became Nepal Sarkar (as shown on this stamp of that year).
