Democracy is the filtration system which wipes out the flaws from the system. In some place, it may take long, and in some place it takes short. Like in Bihar or Nepal, it might take long. But eventually the crooked leaders like Lalu prasad yadav is going to be replaced finally by the people. But there's noway that king's flaws will be seen by people; so we don't even need to have doubt about replacing him. The democracy built CIAA and gave them more power and there're several examples where some dishonest people were punished. I agree that it was not enough but it was just the beginning. If you care about the system, why does royals have to attack first on media? Are media also crooked? Isn't the media the one who lets us know about the real situation? Isn't it the media who writes bad against the politicans? Isn't it the media who eventually pressurized Dr. Giri to pay back the loan. He even denied to have any loan at first. But why did he pay at the end? It is just to fool us so that they can fill our mind only against the politicians and no new news are published against misdeeds of present regime. If GPK and his lauda has dictatorship, their party is going to be split like it did. Eventually the effect will be in the poll, and they will have to lose the election. I don't agree that the root of problems has started from politicians. Probably, you and I started to read the news since democracy; that's why we blame them and think that they started it. But I strongly oppose your view that politicians started to create problems in Nepal. Royal system has longer history. Here, I meaned to tell you about the bigger picture. If you read the history, there was not much problem in Nepal before Shah dynasty. Problems started since shah dynasty. Though it was unified nepal geographically, but it didn't unify in any other mean. So, it was a failure. But I don't mean that it could have been better if Nepal were split among chaubise rajyas. Is Nepal's poverty and rising of shah dynasty just the coincidence? Are you kidding that we should go back to even before MULUKI AIEN to Prithvi Narayan's time? Definitely, all Nepali know by heart about the situation in Nepal, and royalists have less to do with true nepali sentiments. Coz' they think that poorest are those who don't even have enough to eat as DUDH BHAT. "Yet to be followed in this 21th century". Your this sentence is just an irony.
