The insurgents suddenly opened scores rounds of fire at the MI-17 helicopter ferrying logistics for the army, the Public Relations Directorate of the Royal Nepalese Army said. The rebel attack occurred in the southwestern city Nepalgunj at around 10 a.m. The helicopter escaped with minor damage, it added.
