Nepal rebels attack army helicopter despite cease-fire: military
(Kyodo) _ Maoist rebels opened fire at an army helicopter Tuesday even though they have announced a unilateral cease-fire, which ends on Friday, the Nepal military said.
The insurgents suddenly opened scores rounds of fire at the MI-17 helicopter ferrying logistics for the army, the Public Relations Directorate of the Royal Nepalese Army said.

The rebel attack occurred in the southwestern city Nepalgunj at around 10 a.m. The helicopter escaped with minor damage, it added.
