Those who believe that-to select good people and for a good governing a certain level of intellectuality need not be reached by the majority of the people, I recommend them to look at the elected memebrs of parliament in the last election and the concequences thereafter.. and no doubt if the same is to repeat in the name of complete democracy I guess people with even worse mentality will reach power and rule us...
