Her; She could hardly sleep as she kept replaying the events of the day in her mind. His smiling, handsome face lingered in her mind evoking feelings and emotions she hadn't felt in years, since the love of her life left her for her best-friend. As she sat in the traffic, she kept recollecting parts and bits of their conversation from the previous day. He was so intelligent, knowledgeable, funny, sincere and a good-listener. He couldn't take his eyes off her as she made her way through the cardio machines, past the free weights area into the aerobics room where she stretched before her cardio session. She hadn't seen him as she walked in but she knew he was there. As she looked up from a long stretch, she could see him make his way towards her. He was even better-looking today in his gray sleeveless shirt and navy blue sweat pants. "Hi there beautiful?" he said as he reached his arms out to hug her. It was their first bodily contact and it sent a shot of electricity all over her body. "Iam glad you made it" he said. "Iam too" she replied with a sweet smile. They talked and joked about their day at work as they spotted each other through out their work outs. They made plans to go to dinner the next day, which was on a friday. They hugged and said their goodnights as he walked her to her car.... She had spent hours trying to find the best outfit and matching shoes. She went through every dress, pants and skirt in her closet. She finally settled on the little tan dress she had bought on a trip to LA and matching strap-up sandals. Results were amazing. Her long hair was held in a bun. She didn't wear too much make up, just lite natural powder, mascara and colored, shiny lipgloss. Her channel perfum was must-accessory that she wore lightly. Her hearings matched her necklace and bracelett. Marcus was right on time. Not a minute early or late. His style was classy and elegant. Deep Brown pressed pants and a matching off brown lite sweater that accentuated his sculpted upper body. He was amazed at how good she looked and so was she, at how good he looked. The Tamarind was a popular upscale Thai restraunt in down town Atlanta. It was his favorite spot. He had met several local celebrities including Evander Hollyfield, Monica and even Whitney and Bobbie there. The service was exceptional.The waiters dressed in traditional Thai attire. The setting was calm, quiet and cozy with soft classic Thai instrumental music in the background. The lighting was a soft shade of pink that made her skin and eyes glow. The food was out of this world. She had honey, coconut chicken with peanut sauce and white Zinfidel while he had lamb and wine. They talked and talked for hours, hoping the night would never end. He was amazed at how brilliant and travelled she was. She had spent summers in Belgium, Greece and Nice', France. She wasn't fluent in the languages but she had a clue and was familiar with the cultures. As the night wound down, he found himself staring deep into her eyes and seeing the longing in her soul. It was a wanting he felt himself that could only be fulfilled by the deep spiritual connection he was feeling with this woman. It had been great night and none of them wanted it to end. He was very polite to the waiter and tipped him handsomely. He wont even let her leave the tip. It was his treat and he had to take care of everything. The drive home was relaxing and quiet as they took in the beauty of the night. It was still early and he had no hurry to go back to his empty, lonely apartment. With her is where he wanted to be. She gladly took him up on his self-invite to watch a DVD at her place. They watched Meet The Parents and laughed hysterically throughout the movie. She hadn't laughed that hard for a long time. Neither had he. She got up to change the DVD and was going through her selection with her back turned towards him. She could feel her heart racing as she smelt his cologne and felt his presence standing behind her. She could feel His breath at the back of her neck as his hands reached around her waste. She felt his strong body next to hers and she could her body start to tremblin. She turned around and they gazed deep into each other's eyes as their lips slowly moved toward each other. At first it was a slow, on the lips touch, that grew into a deep passionate, hungry kiss that set both of them on fire. She had never gotten this far on a first date before but she knew it was the right moment. She stood there motionless as he kissed her deeper while his hands gently explored her body. In one sweep he carried while still kissing her and found his way into the bedroom where he layed down. They made passionate love throught the night, each time better than the last.
