Back again. It's difficult to uncover a mind full of a certain belief and convince him to realize that his belief are really wrong. No comments to other friend's ideas, I respect your freedom of expression. You are entitlede to believe on what you believe. Continuing to the past of King Gyanendra, let me come to the most important phase of his life. The aftermath of Royal Massacre and the 2 n a half years beyond. 'On that eventful day of the history of Nepal, Gyanendra was away to Pokhara via Bharatpur. Prince Deependra shot dead his father mother brother sister and other and finally hit himself in his head in the left and wiped out the blood of Birendra from the world. Drugged, drunken crazy Deependra killed everybody and himslef and spared Paras Komal Himani Prerana Rajiv Shahi and others after they begged for mercy' well accounted investigation report by Taranath Ranabhat concluded.Bhata ta ta ta. We were not in a situation to say, no thats not the right explanation. what is right then? Could anybody ask this question in the expense of his life???I couldn't at least. The people were set to snatch Deependra's dead body while taking him to Aryaghat but a curfew was masterminded to thwart any such attempt and the biggest secret of the hisotry of Nepal burnt down to ashes in the Bank of Bagmati in Aryaghat. Gyanendra is crowned as the 13 th successor(am I right?or 12th) of the Shah dynasty by default. on the day Rajshava cleared way to his accession, he told to his Praja that he would not keep quiet like his elder brother. How could he keep quiet when he had in his mind the plans of Feb 1 2005. He rejected Girija's request to attack the Maoists in Holeri( not sure if this is the right place) and dismissed him after a few months. The army was persistent about imposing a state of emergency which Girija rejected and he was stripped off. Then came Deuba. He did what the army asked him to do. Imposed emergency, brought poto(terrorism ordinance) and gave the army full authority to crush the Maoists. But the Maoists wouldn't be controlled. they attacked dang and salleri and achham and arghakhanchi and destroyed the army and armed police barracks one after the other. King Gyanendra went on Nagarik Abhinandan and accepted garlands from mandales all over the country. Sacked Deuba alleging him of incompetence and elected Chand. Chand went and came Surya Bahadur. But who could dare to run election amidst maoists violence. Then the public protest gathered momentum against the King. Here he threw the cards by calling the politicians to come up with a consensus name for the post of the prime minister with a clean shit. Political leaders failed and he took advantage of the situation by reelecting Deuba. Poor deuba, just pawn of the Kings suicidal moves. Deuba was destined to go and should have gone few weeks earlier but for the death of PV Narsinmha Rao and the canellation of the Royal trip to India. Anyway Gyanendra deposed Deuba and realized his dream to rule the country with absolute authority. Meticulously planned but a very risky one but not a sleek plan in comparision to the Royal Massacre. I have got more about his actions during the last 3 years but for the limit of space, to be continued!
