Request advice/guidance from Canadian PR holders thru 'buffalo' center or any immigration experts.

I applied for canadian PR on 2nd Jan got Aor on 05 Mar 2008. Again, Got IA on 08 Sep along with Medical which I sent on Mid oct to Ottawa and RPRF to buffalo as instructed. I haven't heard anything from CIC since Oct , Emailed buffalo for update but got  readymade response 'in process and no definite time line'as displayed in ECAS. Going thru the immigration forums I found it takes 2-4 months  normally after Med to get PPR and mine is going on 5th . Losing hope everyday little by little.

Pls advise is there any hope esp. under this financial crisis, I am not on 38 but applied before 27th feb, though,heard minister kenny saying Canada staying the course inspite of recession?

Once medical is done, your PR is almost 100%(unless they found on your medical report that you have disease that is uncurable ot TB or something like that). Just be calm, don't panic. It's just a matter of few weeks/months. Hope this helps.

One of my friend had medical on July and final approval letter he got on las of October ie almost 4 months.

May be on the way.

Sorry  forgot to tell you this , since feb 27 2008 they have this regulation ie, you should fall in this list of 38 to be eligible.
