guys, i bought a HTC droid incredible, which is CDMA phone, i know there is CDMA service in nepal by NTC, but do any of you know how good is service and what is major difference between gsm service and cdma service ?

gsm is stands for global system for mobile communication. it use tdma & fdma techniques as access mechanism . in gsm we devide bandwidth in to time slots for better utilization of bandwidth. cdma stands for code devision muliple access it use cdma techniques as access mechanism . in cdma we allocate a unique code for every user saparately and allocate bandwidth to user

bro cdma ma sim rakhne thau hudaina and i dont think u can take it nepal and use for cdma version of NTC ! u better get some knowledge before u take it !

I have used CDMA phone back in Nepal and Nepal Telecom's CDMA phones use RUIM card. You can easily change CDMA handsets in Nepal by just transferring the RUIM card. If you have an RUIM slot in your HTC by chance, it should work.
