I was looking at a thread here in Sajha, this morning. “SAVE SAJHA CHAT” or something like that. I could not find that thread. Admin deleted it. There was some replies from Sagarnep, Thees_Keta and more from the so called anti Sajha gang.

Why am I starting this thread???? Let explain that, I don’t have any personal concerns with both chat rooms; I have friends in both places. I am random visitor, visit different chat room once in a while.

There are some issues I wanted to address.
1) Sajha is a platform for all Nepalese to come together, and is truly carries common spirit. It has so far been providing everyone with an opportunity to come together and share their thoughts and views. That was exactly how I felt before admin deleted the entire thread. That thread would have been a very useful vehicle to wipe the rumors. It would have been a useful thread to link Nepalese community together once again. Now, I kinda have a feeling that Sajha admin don’t want this rumor to settle down.
2) I myself haven’t been posting for a while. I miss lotta good writers here in Sajha. There was lot of good articles in Sajha, which has been turned only into fun forum. I don’t have any complain about fun forum, but my concern is about people who knew what they were writing. Sajha admin removed the politics out of their main stream, I already opposed that long time ago and I think others opposed too. Where is the democracy in Sajha? Sajha literally meaning common sharing, there is no sharing in here. It’s ruled by one person. There should be a proper system of making decision. Every one cannot be involved in that process but lot of people should be involved representing majority of Nepalese community.
3) I am surprised with one of the threads being around for a while, and had nothing more than nude pictures. I was not aware Sajha turned in soft porn site, talking always about sex and nudity and posting nude pictures. I don’t want to pull that thread again, but many people know about that thread. I am more surprised that administrators did not remove porn thread. Instead they removed the thread intended to remove the rumors of chat war. Isn’t it interesting? I am completely shocked to c the transformation of Sajha and its admin taking everything into personal level.
4) Just as a reminder: www.staticnepal.com and www.yetikuti.org are complete different entities; there is no co-relation between them. They share a common chat room along with other websites like www.mydharan.com www.coolnepal.com and www.khattam.com. I also visit their chat room, the same way I visit Sajha chat. I don’t have no issues with people chatting in both places. The worst part is the friends who used to be in one place are scattered now. The best part is, I am welcomed in both the places. Its my personal choice to go to any chat room I want to go. No one ever has forced me to do so. But the behavior of Sajha admin really made me feel bad about Sajha now. I believe lot of people even didn’t know about that thread, while some people did.
I won’t be surprised not even if my thread is deleted by the administrators of Sajha.com. I would rather take is as the effectiveness of my writing. I as a person, am free do join any website and chat room I want to. The worse any one can do is banning me from chat and website both. You are more than welcome to do so, if u desire to do so. I made my point and I believe there are lot of people here who think the way I think.

hyaa...we're expecting too much!! No Restrictions is the best way to go. sajha's like a chautari- so if someone comes and shits in the chautari, nagarpalika can stick a notice and make it a rule- do not shit here, you'll be fined. but if a group of people sitting in the chautari start swearing, another group cannot take a flag and start demonstrating. its like freedom of speech, but if people are civil enough- they will maintain that civility, and not swear. if they're not civil, you'll either have to ignore them, listen to them quietely, remind them nicely, or swear back at them. but you don't go put pressure on nagarpalika to make sure people who come to the chautari and sit don't swear. thats asking for too much.

what i'm saying is- Sajha has been sabaiko sajha- if there are too many restrictions and recommendations to monitor this and that, or to make this site like this or like that, set it as an example bla bla- its not sajha anymore. then there'll be dictatorship. i think sajha is, to a great extent doing some monitoring only to make sure it doesn't take the shape of a category- like a porn site, or a political site etc. other than that, say whatever you feel like, spill your frustrations, share your happiness, get punked, do whatever..its sabaiko sajha. Amen!

let me again try..Nails I did open that chat room...but now am only part of that network team as it has grown bigger than what I started with...
Main reason to open our network (not mentioning the name just avoiding conflict of advertisement)....was to give platform for all the users a chance to chat..I know chatting is not a right its a previlage but it is something that you cannot just take it away without knowing the both side of story...some of the users were banned without reason and I myself have witnessed that as a operator of this old respected network "sajha". Let me give you one example..one fine morning microsoft decide that it will take away your right to use messenger..what will be you reaction "ANGER" thats exactly what happened to that users they got angry over the decision and never given chance to explain, now that will not solve the problem it will create more problem as then you will try to get into the network by one means or other..legally or illegally...its the same scenario on user level who flooded sajha i guess...I dont want to defend anyone but my whole point here is to explain you that our network was not created to be a rival of sajha chat or any other chat...All the users including me just needed some platform where we could all reunite again and enjoy chatting. All the recent activities that sajha has witnessed has been solely on personal level and our network doesnt hold responsibilities as both network has faced problem because of this...i believe that flooding got away because of imcompetency of administrator maintaining this chat room.

This whole chat concept is not about rivalry but about connecting with friends and making new friend globally. We just want everyone to come together and there are other solution than flooding the room to achieve so. One of them is connecting two chat and bringing all users together but its only my thought on personal level I dont know if both nwtworks will agree on it. And there could be many other solutions which I may not be aware of and I am ready to discuss on behalf of our network (if I am allowed to). There is no point in having 20 users here and 20 users there and fiting with eachother to bring in the same ppl.

Anyway on my personal note: You asked me to join sajha leaving the network that I am now part of..that is totally not possible...personal humiliation that I recieved is not worthy of any compromisation. But let me make one thing clear on personal level sagarnep has never been involved in any such activity and will never be coz i strongly oppose any harmful activities as a person. He is off to get married, I think that we should be considerate and keep that in mind when we point out at the porn threads. The people participating in it should be the ones ashamed. Chat user dude, go and read my posting again. I haven't brought any personal issues in here. All the issues brought are personal opinion and you don't have any need to reply if you don't want to. I hope everything is down and dusted now. I do not think that the real admin of the other website and others sajha frequenters would do that to sajha chat.

I do not frequent in chat as much, but let me voice what I experienced some months ago. It was no biggie, as those stuff happens in virtual dome, but since it has been out in this web forum, let me just go with the flow.

I learned about that website which another sajhaities had started from someone. And later met harke bro in sajha room and then went to check that chat room. Just when I was settling down, this guy called "Marshall" send me a message, thinking I am ne0, using many explicit abusive terms, including the family members, and banned me with the last words. “ Machi... ran... ko chora ne0 jasoos garna auchas, afnai chat ma ja.”

Huh?

I was like what the heck was going on? But then, I got off my pc, brushed my teeth, ironed my cloths, and off I was to bed. Kaam thiyo nit a bihana ;) Hehe.

But the gist of my posting is; hate breeds more hatred. And it certainly takes "two to tango."

I can not term it anything than a juvenileness of that person, "Marshall." But if it made him feel "macho and the man" - I guess it's all good.
