Ol Chap,
Good grief... :-) Good cuppa - cheers.

Nautanki?? And what is that? I've seen a few ppl use this term in Sajha!

And who's been made Brigadier - sndy?? :-) Blimey! My salaams too to her if it were her!

Good to see you perch firmly at your usual Sajha helm. As always. Nothing new except I've done some travelling in the weekends - wanted to do some skiiing but no snowing in the Highlands. Global warming or what? :-) Might be heading off to Spain next month - have had enough of this dreary dripping English mausam. Oh watched rugby and some football (soccer!) on telly on Sat.

Oh on Padma Laxmi front - you know me only too well, mitey.. one ol git used to call me 'the magnet'.. ahem.. :-) He still does - so there you go! A few of the real P laxmis are doin' me ol' head in. grrr. Pressure, pressure - hey, I might as well head for Eye-raque (this is my American speak!), since some Lahuray from the Windsor Household is also heading there! :-)

Enough woffles for one post - take care, ol chap.
I shall head for bed, in a mo - might watch the news first though.
Night.

Hey Loote Sir, you don't go confusing me, please. Mercy on this lady, this little brain has already been grilled and cannot take no more of confusing phrases. Btw, who are you referring 'he' as? I would definitely be able to tell you how 'he' is if you be kind enough to let me know who are you talking about.
:-)

LOL @ Sandhurst ! "Magnet", eh? Did you hear that, Loote? (And Loote thinks I am the killer :P). As for pressure, I feel the pain, brother :) Why can't life be simple - no commitments, no pressure, no kich-kich, no? :) hah ah ha ... Looks like Loote got himself into something too :P Anyways, good luck figuring it out - keep us posted - I could never figure it out myself :P

As for "Nautanki", SNDY can prolly detail it better than me, but we have used it to loosely describe anyone who likes to keep the conversation light even if it means saying things that might sound silly to the uninitiated mind :) I believe the term was used by another user to poke fun/ humor at some other users for talking what he prolly perceived to be nonsense, but we kinda liked the phrase and started using it. Then I proposed the name "Nautanki Brigade" and SNDY agreed saying it would fulfill her long-time dream of becoming a Brigadier.! :P So that's the long story short. :D

Our use of titles is not borne of any delusions of service or any secret yearnings for such service but rather for the sake of pure and unbridled fun. Right, Brigadier SNDY? I guess you being a true soldier, you could be the C-in-C or Field Marshall or whatever else pleases you - we'll let you take your pick -- LOL!!

As for all that "American speak" I must commend the effort. Bravo! You could pass for a native southern boy there - I wouldn't even have noticed:P But, psst, I'll l let you in on a little secret: we get as much a kick here in the rest of the country from "Eye-raq" and, believe it or not, "Eye-talians" as you do over there. And don't get me started on my British speak, I suppose you guys have got quite a few skeletons in your cupboards too when it come to the lingua franca :P Kidding.

Was nice catching up. Have a big review tomorrow. Need to finish up a prez, grab some dinner and hit the sack.

Juggy - That was a good one. There is quite a bit of truth in some of those statements.

" 10. Your deadline are always beating you because you spend too much time in sajha."

I have had that happen to me once or twice now. So am cutting back. Loote - how did you manage? :P

Flips - Good seeing you around.Hope thinks are going well there.

Loote - What is this I hear - so you are not hitched, then? You are confusing me now :D (that was the intention, eh? :P) I was getting ready to chill a few bottles here - alas, if only I knew what was really going on. Blowing hot one minute and cold the next? Cold feet? :P LOL!!

SNDY, NPl2US - You guys have a good one - catch you when I do.

Hey Flips,
I did watch Eklavya..All I can say is it's a nicely made movie. However, thought it wasn't intense enuf (didn't really match with the serious storyline). Acting was awesome..from Amitabh Bachchan to Jimmy Shergill. Liked Boman Irani and Sanju baba particularly..Cinematograpy was excellent..Was hoping to see more of beautiful locales of Rajasthan.. I was disappointed there..
The fort was beautiful..All in all, very different and technically and artistically good movie.

Flips has a hubbie? oh my! This is too much news to handle in one day. First Loote reappears and hints he is hitched, then he says is not, and now this!! :D

I am off - need a drink!

:)

Loote Sir - A small correction. I meant to say future husband. Btw, I'm crippled hence leg-pulling is beyond your imagination! If you are getting hitched soon, do not forget me puhlease, I love going Janti (Ketako gahar bata ketiko gharma jaaney tradition). LOL

Captain - Good Luck for tomorrow!

Flips, sure! only if i knew it when, i would let everyone know right away ...haha ... right now, there are other priorities of life ...which sucks :P

Sn di,
u're my di...so you have to come along with flips for jantibakhro (that's what it is called haina? :P)....btw, am planning to watch eklavya next weekend. my friend has already bought a ticket for me so can't say no....i have got mixedbag of responses for the movie but since you seem to have liked it, i am hopeful....:-). i just got a chance to watch dhoom 2 over the weekend. it was pretty good for bollywood standard. i hate aishwarya and now after seeing her in the movie, i hate her even more ;P. dunno why the whole world is after her :P :P..

captain,
addiction is very hard to get away with. i too am addicted to sajha lately. it's beginning to become a ritual for me to check the damn site at least 10 times a day hahahaha.....i think the best way (honest one) to cut down the usage is we all plead san to close the site for good hahahaha....sometimes i really feel like that, no kidding hahahahaha :P

alrite folks laterzzz

LooTe
