In many threads,people just go to say hello.Original thread gets messed up with those hello conversation and originator of thread gets irritated.(I messed up one of those threads and feels guilty for that.I apologize Naakpore).

I'm defending my Phd dissertation in early May so I'm awfully busy .... am also searching for jobs and interviewing at some places .... But it's always nice to browse sajha and meet folks ...otherwise, life as a grad student is like that of a hermit! no fun, all work ... :-P

Not sure where in the West coast you guys are, but talk of movie and samosa reminds me of this Indian place in Fremont,CA that I used to visit in a previous life :) You could get the complete package there - Hindi movie, sweet chai, samosa and every now and then some whistling and jeering too! :P
