Now the question is are you greatfull to god? How often do U remember god ? Do you thank god when you are happy ? Do you blame god or yell at god when you are in trouble or unhappy ?

...yes we do, in many instances. for example, people yell 'oh my god' when they're excited. people gasp 'thank god' when they're relieved. people excrete 'uuuhhh god' when they're constapated and can't take a dump. people (especially wemen) yell 'ohh god... yes... yes... ohhhhh gooood' during orgasms. so john_gothalo, the point being, you cannot analyze what people yell out during extreme times as a sign of their devotion... it is just an involuntary response... people will say 'hey bhagavan' or 'oh my god' or 'allah' ho akbar' and those are just expressions we are socially programmed to yell out... even an athiest may yell out 'thank god' if he just walked out of an accident... it is not at all an indication of his faith... so now that you have your answer, please stop preaching...

I agree with gorkhali about the expression. That may or may NOT correlate to once faith. But when we are on the subject, you asked few other questions. Bottom line is you wanted to know if we remember GOd all the time or just when we need the Divine being. Well, no matter what, is it necessary to remember the God all the time? Do I have to thank him for all the happiness before going to bed? Well, I think not. My Go(o)d ness is within me and I won't do anything to jeopardize my morale, I guess that is enough for me. I can't imagine of God who needs constant praisals and rememberances.

Ok first of all I didnt mean to make anyone feel guilty.cause I didnt said that if you dont remember or thank god all time time you aint good, Neither I have written anywhere to thank god at times of happiness did I ?I just wanted to know how many of us are there who always remember god at good times and bad . I am not here to teach you how we should thank god all the time. Anyway as afar as I know about gautam buddha he didnt said that he was the son of god cause he wasnt, and he himself left everything in search of peace,he never said that I am the lord or I am the way to whatever... somewhere I read that he himself was in search of life ? And at last whatelse ? oh finally theres someone who wants to know was the girl sittin next to me was hot enough ? Uffff kahile sudhreni ho keta ho ? who knows may be she was ur sis or ........................

John saahab, You don't seem to know much of Buddha and his teachings, may I suggest you run to your friendly neighborhood library and do some gyan-aarjan on the subject? On the other note, I am not sure if Jesus Christ ever claimed he IS God either. I think Paul might have lot to do in portraying JC as big G. Hoina ra?

Riten bro, first of all a big sorry, to be honset with you I havent done any research on the life of buddha, and whatever I know is you know from books and all. and I didnt see anything intresting in his life as well. And as far as I know about jesus christ he has said in may verses that he is from god.and theres no way but only him through whom we can reach up to god. And as U know in one verse he says that he's the way,truth and life and before his birth god spoke to joseph sayin that the child in marys womb is from holy spitir and U shall name him emmanuel, "and that means god with us "

As for your answer...eventhough I was raised as a Hindu, I don't just beleive in hindu gods... the way I see is that there is somebody higher than us.. I don't want to give them name lkie shiva, bishnu, jesus, mohammed or anything like that.. just that there is or are someone beyond us..that's it..I believe in spirituality...The reason I asked you about the girl is because that's how I am.. that's where my interest was regarding your story.. so once again was she hot or not..don't get me wrong.. I don't have sisters of my own.. but everybody in this world is after someones sister, daughter, wife etc.. not just me.. you yourself one day will marry someone's sister, daughter, someone's girlfriend, ex-girlfriend unless you're gay that is.. but you get my point don't you??????
