maybe Nepali people need to take some action against these consultancies. maybe it's time we rioted for something other than some political leader's illegimate greedy dream or against some bollywood actor for their dumb comments. but no, no Nepali will ever stand up against injustice unless some some corrupted political leader decides to make it their agenda to gain power. shame to us Nepalis who can't stand up and bring these fake people under justice.. it will continue and for a third world country like Nepal all these pounds going out of the country is like poking an anemic person to drain out of blood..

I think people need to calm down here ... the poster was only asking, not stating, so there would be no source for it for starters, just heard from word of mouth.

I'm also sure it is more out of concern and dread more than for 'fun' or 'play' or to 'mess' as some ppl are saying. Aren't we all concerned for fellow Nepalis? Do we not want to know about what is happening to our own people?

Lastly, HereAlone explained his post and apologised which is more than i can say about some other Sajhaites who respond in such repulsive aggressive manner.

The intentions were never to hurt anybodys feelings or sentiments so give him a break, be gracious.

Yo Mandale.... i should ring your parents and tell them you are a foul mouthed uncivilised fool. Fact. They sure would be proud of u using that 'M' word so recklessely. Don't come back until u can speak in a more acceptable manner.

Can't believe u are making up some scenarios about phone calls and being such a drama queen over just a question. This is some of the dumb Nepali mentality i hate so much.

What the f * is wrong with all you haters....
All Herealone was trying to do was to confirm something that he heard, and asking if anyone know if it is true...
He never said it was a fact, or never stated any Names...
What are you foul mouthed hypocrites crying about.

Sorry People... Don't You Think.. This topic is just over-hyped. The guy is just asking a simple question. And everybody is blaming that guy, even though he is saying sorry. Think about it..

Peace

Internet Forum: A common platform where one can seek and provide experience-based information besides and alongwith the mainstream media and information portals.
Wikipedia: It's a whole another animal! (for those who know!) {The information in Wikipedia is user-generated and user-edited for its (supposed) accuracy! And it is not STUPID.}
Sajha Kurakani Forum: A common platform where one (Nepalese)  can not seek information besides the mainstream media without facing libels and can not provide information without incensing people.
(This, of course, only applies to stupid threads like these).

Stupid thread!

But, if any thread as such is stupid, what is the kind that is not stupid? Ah, I get it! Elaborate and erudite discussions about Nepalese and US politics, socio-economal fiascoes, PETA-related discussions and debates! Now, they are not stupid. Not even the links of songs and videos, self -promotions are stupid. (I have contributed in many of them, and bored you all to death!!) But information not found in mainstream news source, or without hiring any expert are conveniently deemed stupid. Arey Wah!

When a student is having a status/visa problem, and wants to gather as much first-hand information as possible about his possible visa situation, experts here curtly advise him/her to hire a lawyer or talk to International office. Of course, is this a place to ask for such advices?
You imbecile!! Go, Hire a lawyer, and pay the money you do not have, or get in the line of your incompetent International Office.
Oh, and attorneys take credit cards too.
Well, if you do not have money and credit card, you are sh*t out of luck. Or maybe your International Office can shed some light on the issue more than someone who has already experienced it.
Why would you expect to get any good advices anywhere, when you could conveniently walk into your group of friends and ask them of possible solutions? Oh, I know, I can understand. They will only prey upon your vulnerability and exploit of your situation? That is highly improbable. Or not. Okay, so whatever it is, your thread is plain stupid. Go, Hire an attorney!

Suicides are not printed in newspaper or posted online on news portals. Herealone, my friend, you should have known better and called your friends in UK.
Oh you did, and they also heard. Man, why you go chasing after gossips?
I am sure, everyone is fine. I hope, everyone is fine.
You only upset our beloved friends here, by asking such a "stupid" question, igniting their passion for trustworthy sources and emotions. You can not go around posting such baseless threads and evoke their emotions and warrant their conspicuous wrath upon such a grave matter. Your justifications and reasons will not serve the purpose, when the deed has been done. I hope, you will pay heed to it, and never try to do such acts in the future.

PS: If any thread is stupid, then, those who advocate freedom of speech got it all wrong.
Those who do not, kudos! A stupid thread is stupid, no matter how great it sounds.

PS2: If anyone finds my comment condscending and even "stupid: I thank you for your keen observation. And if you find it boring: it can cure your insomnia! : -) !!

PS3: A revolutionary gaming console by Sony that supports Blue-Ray format, Netflix streaming capability, online gamers community and all the other perks an avid gamer needs. And it is only 299 plus applicable taxes. Game discs, BlueRay discs, Netflix account, Gamefly account, 52" LCD screen, 1000Watt Dolby Digital Audio System and accessories sold separately.  Oh, and it is all abuzz with "SARCASM".

    Guys,

His name is Bodh Raj Paudel, no idea which part of Nepal he is from. He said to be chief engineer in Nepal and moved to London in dependent VISA to his wife who was doing her Ph D. Everything seems and looks marvellous as it should be at the beginning since families moved from most poor and troublesome country of the world to most developed, rich country in the world. Of course it is many people’s dream to be in rich country for better life as it looks so appealing, lovely, smooth, beautiful, easy and cuddly thanks to MTV culture for all this impression. Many well-wishers in Nepal are proud to say that their loved one is now moved to London and many enemies has their face down feeling they have been let down by their luck because they think they should have been in London instead.

While Glorification and grief in two side continuing in Nepal, honeymoon period in this dreamland didn’t last long for immigrant couple. Things started to fade quickly as dreamland didn’t offered much opportunity pushing them to accept what comes on the table. Wife was doing her Ph D so family was depended mainly on husband’s income to accommodate themselves. Chief engineer now applied for job but as usual, like it happened to every migrant people, application was turn down with the usual reason that either you are too qualified for this job, or you do not have European experience. For migrant people this is a dreamland where if you don’t make money you have no alternative option than dying. So to survive people have to jump into any job they find consequently having frustration, stress and humiliation. On the top being Nepali we have extra pride of having and sticking with better job else remain unemployed. This Nepalese option and pride didn’t work in dreamland as dreamland only offer better life if you work anywhere rather than being unemployed. Chief engineer finally accepted the fact and since he was turn down for better job, he started to work alongside many immigrant workers. But this is where he suffered from humiliation. He could not go back to Nepal as it was matter of shame neither he enjoyed life in the UK. He felt trapped like many immigrants does, however one unexpected decision he made unlike others was to terminate his life ending the suffering and frustration. So he took blade at 3 AM on 9th of July 2007 while wife and his 15 year old son were sleeping and slit his throat while sitting in sofa. There is report that when he fell down to floor wife got up and tried to open door to ask help from next door but Mr Paudel got up and stop wife to go outside until he lost enough blood to become unconscious. He was hospitalised and pronounced dead two days later. His 15 year old son said to be a prodigy and has topped school in London even though he was recently brought to UK from Nepal. Mr Paudel’s wife and son have gone to Nepal to do his final ritual. Mr Paudel, though chief engineer and intelligent Nepalese, finally saw no exist other than suicide, leaving his brave wife and son alone. He could have learnt from wife and son that life mean struggle, keep struggling and learn to enjoy life. But that didn’t happened. Once again, another educated intelligent Nepalese has been ambushed in this superficial world. This is the fact of western life.

We all are cowardly who runaway from country to escape the trouble there. If we all have guts to face the challenge, our country would be much better than now.

PS: There is different underground rumour going on at the moment in Nepalese community linking to his death. I do not want to highlight that here because I am not sure if that’s the fact.
