A friend of mine who graduated recently with a 4 yr degree has been offered a help my a restaurant owner for H1B sponsorship. Is it better to apply as a manager for the restaurant or as a cook?

I'm thinking that cook visa would be easier and more appropriate considering it is an asian restaurant. Is there a good lawyer you can refer me to? I have heard about Keshab Raj Seadie from New York but don't know if he's good.

Any help will be appreciated.

yea, cook is the better choice. it will be easier too if/when your friend decides to apply for a green card. it's easier to convince the ins that finding a good cook is harder than finding a good manager.
