Bornbree i respect your opinion. But just go through your point you talk about Freedom of Speech. But unfortunately we havent supported this statement by actions.

My opinion is why do we have to resort to assult someone and not respect the difference of opinion. I am talking about bidhan , see how we have made a personal attack on him which is a disgrace. I have seen his thread he has been comparatively much better.

we are talking about freedom of speech but we do we have to resort to offend somebody. Are we following the freedom of speech?

I am not with bidhan or anybody but then it is a disgrace when we are from most democratic society and we have to attack someone personally just to prove our point.

Anyway i have to go to work . bye

Bornfree

Please do not forget that half of the oil import to the US comes from Canada.

By the way Canadians dont have that clossal social problems like gun crime, robbery, murder etc like in the US.

And we have more laid back lifestyle here than in the US. I have lived in both the US and Canada. I went to school in the US.

what you mean Bidhan "strike" you or someone else physically. This is not the way. This is not what we learned here in United Statest of America. May if he Bidhna did that then he should aplogize. We cannot get carried away too much. We have to prove points by points and not winning the debate by threatening someone else.
That is so Nepaliiiiiiiiii of him.

sorry for that.

Hey ed...its not like everybody is making personal attack to bidhan, he has the right to like london..his comments are just like a kid...not ready to listen...if hasn't travelled here how could he compare on the basis of reading...yeahh i gave in the authentic site so that he could know something...its not attack...its just like saying me without travelling london saying london sucks...and london is like this and like that....how could i judge without travelling london? thats my point....
Just go though the second posting what he wrote...just because ny lost in olympic bidding doesn't mean it sucks..and its travelling systme sucks...the quality of life in london may be good for him when he is totally in sports..but peoples way of living life differs...it is not like that what ever bidhan wrote we need to accept it....

all his comment was like this mero gharma yasto cha..tero ghar ma pani tyahi cha ho? la dekha tero gharma k cha? natra bhaye ta jhoor rahechas....like a kid fighting...

hello khaobaadi. Nice hering from you. OK maybe i am wrong about Canada. It's true USA has many problems. Drugs, Guns and other social problems. But every nations has its own problem dudes. US has this problem due to freedom of right.
So you can own fire possession if you pass criminals background.
But then again this same fire possession also gives you self protection.

It's good that you went to schooll here in USA so you understand USA better than many of the people here. But from my point of view, USA is still da best dude.
I live in Singapore most of my times and went to Nepal. But as you knew Nepal's conditions. So have to be here.

good day

This must be one of the most popular thread in sajha. Whats more i see myself in every thread even when i am not here. Not only this thread but in several other thread i saw people talking about me. I have been succesful in winding people up.

coming back to khaobadi , yes i have a general idea of ice hockey but unfortunately we dont have so much of snow here . So we have to resort on artifitial rink . I guess i have a fair idea of canada because i am living in the university accomodation with six other girls and two guys and one of the girl is from canada. She is originally from newfoundland. Other girls are mostly european apart from one who is from american. I still havent played ice hockey though but i would love to. I mainly play football , rugby and cricket.

Bearing arms is not a constitutional right in Canada (in the US it is).

Amazingly per capita ownership of guns is higher in Canada (than in the US) that comes close to one gun for every six Canadians. If the entire Canadian population were divided into a family of six people. Every family in Cananda will get one firearm.

But still the gun crime (all crimes) rate is far lower in Canadian socitey probably for a simple reason. Canadians in general keep and use guns to hunt wildlife, not for hunting people.

canadians are laid back .despite being very developed they dont indulge in war and everything so they are not in news as other countries are. But i dont agree with the idea of selling guns to the general public. You may say it can be used as protection but still gun knows only one laugage ; language of war

not really Bidhan. people have different likings. and so people like guns fo hobbies or collectors items.
owning a gun simply dosen't mean it's language of war. i have handle M-16, MP5 and pistol of different caliber while growing up in Gurkha Camp. Does it mean i have become a violent person. Depending freedom, equality and right through violent is right.

I do not compare myself with someone inferior to me.

When i try to compare myself with someone, and tell that i am better. I think i am a kind of jealous with that person. I guess.

Black cabs vs Yellow taxis
Black cabs and yellow taxis define their respective cities. Black cabs have a distinctive shape, are larger than most London cars and in recent years can come in a variety of colours and brands. The bold egg yolk yellow taxis are brash, bold and distinctive in the hustle and bustle of New York City. Cabbies in New York and London are licensed. London cabs are able to hold up to 5 people plus luggage and are wheelchair accessible and must accept any fare within the London Metropolitan Police district. New York cabs hold up to 4 people and will take you to any of the 5 boroughs of New York City. Drivers expect tips of around 15-20% in New York and at your discretion in London.

Cabbies both side of the Atlantic are known for their down to earth opinions on practically every subject under the sun, and they have an intimate knowledge of their cities. Some things on both sides of the Atlantic are the same: for example, the light on top of the cab means that the cab is unoccupied and attracting the attention of a cabbie is the same, with New York cabbies suggesting: "Pretend that you are the statue of Liberty" to hail one down. The minimum fare in New York City is $2, with charges clearly written on the side of the taxi. Black cabs are generally more expensive in the evening and on public holidays, with the minimum fare being ?2.

Even though New York taxis are comfortable and clean, London cabs have an edge with a distinctive shape to normal cars, larger interiors, knowledgeable drivers and a comfortable passage around London

Tubes vs Subway
The London Underground and the New York Subway are the arteries of their respective cities. The services offer a speedy and cheap way to travel the city, with lines going to most nooks and crannies. To use the New York Subway for adults costs $2, £7for a one day pass and for an unlimited 7day pass it is $21. In London the system is slightly more complex with the network divided into roughly 5 zones, with a variety of fares depending which zone you are in. However, it costs ?2 to travel within zone 1 and a one day Travelcard costs ?5.30 for zones 1 and 2 and week Travelcards can be in excess of ?20.

The downsides of both systems are that they lack cleanliness and during peak times you get intimate knowledge of how it feels to be a sardine packed in a very bursting tin, although the New York system is air conditioned which makes breathing easier in the humid summer months. The big downside of the New York subway is that there is a lack of information while waiting for the train on many stations. However, the service is 24 hours which is a major plus and the subway maps have the added advantage of doubling up as a local street map, which makes navigating around the city easier. In many respects the New York Subway is a lot more user friendly and simpler to use than the Victorian London Underground. Therefore New York wins this one!
