Not that I really think that all men are psychopaths but it amazes me to see their capability to go on and on fussing about why women are not good and all that. In the end when they see some girl all the things they said earlier disappears. Okay I understand that there are some girls that are really a shame BUT why do men shout and spit venom at every chance they see? They would SO much want to go out with whites.. party around, get drunk and do all crazy things. When women do the same-- they are going against the nepali culture. Well answer this-- Does Nepali culture teach Men to party, drink, go have sex with multiple partners? Isn't doing all that against the Nepali culture too?

I dont think that men should look at themselves and see if they can say without hesitation that they are honest followers of nepali culture. I think that as t ime changes both men and women change.. WHY the superiority complex. This might be one of the VERY FEW thread against nepali men... BUT look for threads looking for insults to the nepali women and you see a zillion. WHY do guys fuss SO MUCH?

"A foolish man tells a woman to stop talking, but a wise man tells her that her mouth is extremely beautiful when her lips are closed."

And I find women's mouths extremly beautiful when they are closed. :p Nothing to do with the statement above. ;) Sachai ho :p

IndisGuise:)

P.S: I do respect your kind. :)

Rather than asking men to conform to cultural (narrow) trends, one must ask EVERYONE -- of BOTH genders -- to be open to inevitable new changes.

Poo da darshan.. hajurlai na dekhya dherai bhayo.. I was trying to point out that GUYS tell gals to stay in cultural limits whereas they themselves do not think they are bound by culture and tradition! Why so?

;)

---

P.S: I lop it when women have so little to say. Especially when they do not rip me apart, while having ammunition to do so all the while. :p.
Also they look so gorgeous when they stop short of asking questions:p

In jest,
IndisGuise;)

well I agree with both gender equality but as far as men talking bout women goes, I think its more of a tradition for nepali ppl which ofcourse is not a good thing. I feel for you women.

rythm,
all i can say is ur observation/evaluation/judgement is appropriate.

about men adhering to Nepalese customs and culture I think most of them are doing it by following:
1. Back home it is OK for the Male to get drunk so they get drunk
2. Back home they polygamy is ok [ mard ko chora]; here they fool around. Marriage has too many liabilities.
3. Back home they put down females. Here, they try to do the same @ sajha or behind the scene. [ of course they cannot tolerate the liberatian show down with female counterpart (O:]

for saying 1,2 and 3 I am sure I will get ripped by my fellow sexist males and feminists as well.

so, before i get shred into bits and pieces let me disclose one more thing i.e. I am a progressive male who believe in gender equality. I do not adhere to 1,2 and/or 3 and they are not part of my characteristics @ all.

I am a true liberitarian thus would not conform to all these double standards anyway (o: . and I am neither defending any of those actions nor preaching them. Just merely stating the obvious as urs truly perceives.

==============================================================================
as always
what do i know (O:

ahahhaha red badar.. hasaucha..

On a serious note though, Rythm sis I absolutely agree with the point that u're trying to make. Just because we happened to get the X chromose from our dads, why is it that we're constantly forced to be submissive.. to men in general, to the society's norms..? I mean there's no such thing as gender equality in any society/culture, but these hypocrite nepali males make our lives even more miserable.. Only in this past week, there has been 5-6 threads directed specifically against nepali women (judging/criticzing them).. No seriously, what makes them think that they're so much better and who has given them any right to judge us? These are the same men who look for every opportunity to bang every girl they see and they come here in sajha and point fingers at us.. it's simply ridiculous
