rythm, all i can say is ur observation/evaluation/judgement is appropriate. about men adhering to Nepalese customs and culture I think most of them are doing it by following: 1. Back home it is OK for the Male to get drunk so they get drunk 2. Back home they polygamy is ok [ mard ko chora]; here they fool around. Marriage has too many liabilities. 3. Back home they put down females. Here, they try to do the same @ sajha or behind the scene. [ of course they cannot tolerate the liberatian show down with female counterpart (O:] for saying 1,2 and 3 I am sure I will get ripped by my fellow sexist males and feminists as well. so, before i get shred into bits and pieces let me disclose one more thing i.e. I am a progressive male who believe in gender equality. I do not adhere to 1,2 and/or 3 and they are not part of my characteristics @ all. I am a true liberitarian thus would not conform to all these double standards anyway (o: . and I am neither defending any of those actions nor preaching them.
