  • Write an op-ed in nepali national blog on how the decision of Nepali Embassy and Foreign ministry's position will hurt almost 10k Nepali in TPS
  • Call Nepal Embassy, Foreign ministry
  • Social media campaign to reach out key legislatures on senate and HR.
  • Reach out to journalist in US with our story

Any one interested to any of this and save TPS for Nepal?

DM open

Everyday there are so many versions of this stories, some say Nepal is not included, some say it isn't. The Adhikaar website emphasizes on pushing through the America Promise Act. With so little right information all it causes is panic and fear. I am one of them and haven't found a solution yet. Any suggestions?

New proposal creates a new status called legal temporary status. It is bad idea because it does not allow for adjustment of status. So look for new ways to stay in USA now

Call this number for Lindsay Graham ‭(202) 224-5972‬. Leave this msg . ( or choose to use your own words)
Hello Senator , my name is .... I am calling from ... and am a native of Nepal and a TPS recipient. I applaud your effort to give relief to TPS expiring countries and your willingness to work with president and members of both aisles of congress to put bill that helps DACA & TPS populations & Open the govt. in the process, I see you have forgotten Nepal. There are more than 10K Nepalese that are TPS receipients and are contributing to the economy and building their American dream. Thus I would like to request you to consider Nepal in any further negotiations regarding TPS with Dems as well as White House and not leave 10K Nepalese in limbo.

Thank you

Trump proposal for TPS shouldn't pass(rightfully said in aforementioned comments) and it's not going to be passed by the Congress (as the voting is going on) because they don't have majority.

Rather than expecting for the government, we need to take action. As we know there were lawsuits filed on behalf of countries (Sudan, Haiti, Nicaragua, El Salvador) whose TPS were terminated by the current administration, and the judge over ruled the termination. So the people from those countries can legally live and work in the U.S. for decades.

http://immigrationimpact.com/2018/10/26/government-extend-tps-benefits-court-order/

In that lawsuit, the countries that weren't included were Nepal and Honduras. Later there a lawsuit filed on behalf of Honduras.

But nobody is fighting for Nepal. Can't the lawyers' association for Nepalese of any kind take the lead?

I can do any day. But, please let me/us know early enough so I can block the time.
Also, apart from ADHIKAAR there needs to be some political/diplomatic correspondence from the Nepalese organization like ANMA. NASEA - just a thought if there hasn't been so far.
