proposal--

"would you mind being a beloved "grandma" of our grandchildren?"

reject--

"excuse me, but i don't understand love. i am too naive and premature for those stuffs"

Shwetaa,
Wot is the best way to propose somebody?
-Showing interest in the person first, if he likes you he will propose himself or you can break the ice too. If you are attractive this should be a piece of cake I think..if not forget about it. If both of you are already in love with each other it should be even easier.. Just tell the guy that your family in Nepal is looking for a groom for you.. then he should react to it if he likes you

And wot is the best way to say no?
-"I am seeing someone" or "I am engaged" or "You are like my brother" haha... the worst thing to hear from a chick you like..

The best way I have seen somebody propose someone was back in the winter of 2004. I think it was either valentines day or the day before... Me and my frens from school were hanging out around manhattan that time. we stopped at the rockerfeller plaza to see people skate and all that stuff...

The music was playing and all that jazz but all of a sudden the music stopped and everyone went to the side of the rink except for this dude who circled around the rink with the spot light all the time on him. He probably circled a couple of times and then went down on his knees and went infront of his "love", took out the ring and proposed her right there infront of everyone with a great little "arrangement" he did....

Of course she said yes and they kissed with everyone clapping for them...

This I think was the best way the dude could have ever come up to propose !!!

lol that newyork rocafella center proposal is a standard thing in newyork, many people do it, it is romantic way to do it , but i personally have seen 2 guys proposing the same way at the skating ring,i personally think a guy should be unique while proposing something personal , and somebody said " well if someone is proposing someone i m gonna guess they have been dating for a while. so why would they say no? " , well for starters if two people are dating for a while that does not mean both of them are ready for a commitment , two people dating could also mean that they enjoy each others comapany , the relationship and great sex , that need not result in marraige every time , so sometimes there could me a "NO" while proposing dude.

With the assumption of spate of successful dates with woman, I would recommend someone three things to contemplate before popping the question.

Foremost, choose a venue that spurs the moment as once in a life time experience. You would ask yourself would she be embarrassed or amazed and feel bliss if you pop the question at this venue? I am not gung ho about bash, glitz, and fete, yet I recommend you should ponder hers hobbies or interests with yours that would incite and reciprocate emotionally that last forever. With the courage and pride, you should propose at Talk Show or Daily Show or Karaoke or something different but very unique place. For instance, I would pop the question during the break while visiting Good Morning America or Today’s Show in NY or J Lo's Late Night talk show in LA. It could be something else that should match the interest and very exciting for both.

Having venue chosen, next you desire her to be amazed and delirious. You should offer genuine chivalry and unwitting ad-lib at the venue where you are about to pop the question. That most people have proposed mundanely, You should make this as much as possible peculiar. What could it be much peculiar? It's a million dolor question folks. I leave peculiarity for you to find out yourself because it comes with your trait.

Finally, the moment has come to utter your expression literally. You could express the emotions as romantic as possible in your own words, albeit If I were you, I would express my feeling something like this. First, I kneel and hold her hand gently and start expressing my feelings. The moment I saw you on our first meeting, I felt you were the one who I have been dreaming of my whole life. I could not stop my emotions of regard and affection to you on the first day and there after. I cherish and love you very much. You are my future, my world, my life, and my heart. I wanna be your soulmate to share the moment of truth and ups and downs forever. Would you honor me being my lovely wife?

With love

I think so

I_think_so,

Excellent idea.. interesting venue, unusual and impromptu but romantic proposal. But you forgot to mention the ring which contains the diamond. Just like in the movies.. But these things are not necessary in the culture that I was brought up. If you genuinely love and trust each other then there is no need to do all this I think, just some flowers, a ring and a nice restaurant should be sufficient for normal people like me.
