Greek definately have quite an influence on our civilization, as evidenced by the skin color, hair and the religious aspect of having multiple gods. The fact that we have a God for almost everything, the way only other major religion-Greek has, is a point that cannot be neglected. Also, The Greek invasion of India resulted in the development of the Gandhara school of art. The gods started to look more muscular and long haired. However, later this school of art was discarded because the Indians, like their Chinese counterparts rejected warrior culture and focused on spiritual enlightenmnet. Regarding, the Indians being influenced by the Greek religion, there's a lot of dispute. Yeah, gods are similar and indetical: Hercules- Bhimsen, Aphrodite- Rati, Athena - Sarswati and Hades- Yamaraj. There's a lot of controvery regarding this. Whether its a diffusion or parralelism, no one has been able to tell yet. Amazing stuff!
