(More) The Rupandehi District Organisation Committee of the CPN (Maoist) announced this through a statement, which was faxed to local media offices this morning, a Rupandehi-based journalist told Nepalnews over telephone. Along with the ceasefire, the Maoists have also withdrawn their two-day bandh (general strike) in the district starting from today coinciding with the Buddhist Summit, the journalist said citing the statement signed by Saroj, the district in-charge of the rebel party.
