lau lau lau, thank you for all of the wonderful pictures! of course, now i am more nostalgic and homesick than ever! i consider myself blessed to have lived in palpa. it is such a beautiful place and the people of palpa, like most people in nepal, tend to be incredibly warm, giving, hard-working, and light-hearted. there is a lot of jilla pride in palpa too. it truly is such an amazing place! unfortunately, when i went to ranighat durbar, it was in bad condition. this was probably a little over a year ago. it hadn't been renovated and people had written graffiti all over the interior and exterior of the building. it was a shame. and although it is an impressive building in a very impressive location, it is nothing like the taj mahal! oh, and dada giri, i have been quiet because i was hanging out with family for the thanksgiving weekend and didn't have much access to a computer. no other reason.
