They (The comrades in arm) have announced disruption during the event. Irony as it would be, "the event dedicated to the light of Asia, apostle of peace" is not spared of the violence cycle bewteen the state and rebel. I personally think, this event should have been spared from any political motive: 1. To justidy religious tolerance, and respect for the son of soil Buddha. 2. To demonstrate that violence is only the mean to obtain greater rights of the underrepresented and not a tool to terrorize the mass. 3. To repel the fear that Nepal is unsafe for foreign visitors, as tourism related income is a sustainable economy and any attempt to disturb it is nothing but hacking the nation to die bleeding. 4. Peace is the aspiration of the populace, and violence begets violence, hence as a signal that the comrades in arms are also not against peace, they should immediately overturn their earleir announcement to disturb the World Buddhist Conference and Lumbini event. Declaring Lumbini zone as the land of Peace should be backed and supported by every one of us.
