Swaati--im also a great fan of palpa. These pictures are so reminiscent of my trip to Palpa, nice photographs. All look the same. But, ranimahal looks extraordinarily palatial in the photograph. Last time we were there, ranimahal was in ruins. It looked more like a haunted house. The ceilings, its wooden gazebos were on the point of collapse. And a 10 hour long trek downhill to reach there and back up again to tansen bazaar, was so frustrating. The trail offered no scenic views but a walk by the bank of a river was pleasant. And the cliff close to the threshold of tansen bazaar was terrifying. the view from srinagar dada on the horizon was mesmerizing. nice pics
