.Pade_Queen_no.1, without publishing papers in int'l journals (peer reviewed), it's not easy to get a Ph.D. degree in Japan. However, it depends in which field of study you are in, and what is the minm. nos. of publications REQUIRED !!!! Furthermore, presenting papers in int'l/national conferences is another good job. So, I do believe, HG might have got done with lotse publications. And, more, getting Post-doct in US and working as a researcher is not a cup of tea (respect him ACADEMICALLY). If you belong to research area, i hope you know it better. Also, publishing articles in NEPALI JOURNALS is not a bad thing too. You are sharing your research-work done to Nepali fellow and Nepal. Will it be considered as a bad work ?
