AX, Last time I checked I should have 11 wins in my last week's prediction. But that's okay it does not matter to me regardless. Alfa thita, Auburn has won all four meetings with Alabama in Tuscaloosa, winning in 1895, 1901, 2000 and 2002. So Auburn has never lost in T Town. By the way it was only last year USC was a co-champion along with LSU. So Pac-10 has one team as its National Champion in last ten years. But Ax already put it in a nice way. I know record means nothing when it comes down to Auburn and Alabama rivalry. But this year it is little different. Firstly, Alabama is struggling mightily in its offense. With Broodie Croyle sidelined so its offense. Overall defense was number one in nation till last week. But lets see Auburn's: 2nd in scoring defense. Only allowed little over 8 points in each games. Offense ..well Jason Cambell, Cadillac and Ronnie Brown will not only roll but will steam roll on tide's turf this time. I am saying this because after following Auburn Football for years, I have never seen them play with this intensity. This time AUBURN is for real and with most of the seniors going to NFL, they are making sure going out with a bang. I do not see Alabama creating any hurdle to Tigers run for NC this year. I know SEC has few cup cakes like Miss State, Vandy, and Kentucky. But SEC is no doubt a better conference than any of 'em right now. No conference can boast the likes of Florida, LSU, Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn and Alabama. Heck, even 2nd tier teams like Arkansas, Ole Miss and South Carolina can easily give top teams of other conference run for thier money. Remember how Arkansas whupped mighty Texas last year and Longhorns just managed to beat Arky by 1 point this year. Not being disrespectful to other conferences, but if you want to see smash mouth football each and every week you have to see SEC matches. SEC teams beat up each other so much that it is almost rare to have undefeated team in SEC by the end of the season and in turn they are hurting each other from radar of National Championship. Even mighty LSU couldn't do it last year who killed OKies in Sugar bowl. From Espn to Sports Illustrated Sports writer all agree that SEC is the toughest one. Well, Auburn seems to have one good year in every 10 years;). Last time Auburn played in a championship game was 1957. We should have gone to national Chamiponship when we were 12-0 in 1993 but due to NCAA sanction we were not allowed any bowl games. It is always fun to have some smack talk about football. ;)
