Maya: Do you know me?
Me: Yes, I do.
Maya: Tell me who I am.
Me: You are an illusion.
Maya: How so?
Me: You don't exist when I looked upon you through the light of knowledge. You vanish in a matter of second when there is Self-Knowledge. How can darkness exist in the vicinity of Sun? You have no true existence.
Maya: Please tell me what was the effect under my presence?
Me: You are the source of all misery. I suffered a lot by your illusory power which creates things that doesn't even exist in reality. You created an illusory ego-sense in me which creates numerous desires. Then, I became slave of my own desires running hither and thither in this forest called Samsara. I had to go to many illusory experiences like birth, diseases, old age, and death. Through repetitive births, I experienced many things which are considered pleasures and pains. However, all experiences are considered as painful by enlightened beings. I do not rejoice such things anymore! I have gained Self-Knowledge through Self-inquiry. I salute to that One reality which is beyond mind and which creates this world through Maya. I am free now. I am no longer bound by your cruel illusory power. I have become that peaceful, blissful absolute reality myself. Oh Maya, you don't really exist in me but your existence cannot be denied during the absence of Self-Knowledge. You are as real as dreams!
Maya: Blessed are those Atmas who can taste the bliss of that pure existence. You have become That. That Thou Art!
Me. Indeed That I am.
