I wouldn't necessarily call her a fraud or a scammer. But she needs to be more open and transparent. If she has some kind of certification like EA, CPA, Certified TAX Professional, etc, she needs to put that up front with her PTIN #, full name and address of her business. Only then I would trust her with my perosonally identifiable Information (PII). Otherwise, she can use my information to file the tax and get the refund in her account or get the refund mailed to her address. Or she (who knows maybe he) could be phishing for information to get some financial benefits.

P.S As the poster is claiming to federally licensed tax preparer, he/she must be Enrolled Agent (EA) to make such a claim,  otherwise it is unlawful to present one as such.
