A leaked Trump order suggests he’s planning to deport more legal immigrants for using social services ( medicaid, food stamp, chip etc)
If you have sponsored someone into the country and he/ she ends up using social services, you, the sponsor, will be forced to pay for the services he/ she used. ( existing law will be strictly enforced)
Your application for permanent residency and citizenship might be denied if you have used these services or are likely to use this service once in the US.
