So I am a student at Northern Illinois University, Dekalb IL. Today I'm just randomly walking and a truck drove by with a confederate flag and Nazi flag. I shook my head,so to the right of me was a parking lot and that truck turned around and pulled up by me with 1 guy holding a shotgun, they specifically (4 guys) said "you don't belong in our town you f**kin banana nigger eating monkey" I laughed cause the way the sentence was constructed it was a few errors. So I couldn't hold my peace anymore and I told them all specifically "look I have no problems with you all, can I at least shake your hand?", the driver asked why and I said " people like you are the ones who drives me to make sure I succeed in life. I appreciate you and your friends!" While one kept saying "Nigger! Nigger! Nigger!" I just proudly said I'm blessed to be in the skin I'm in.. this election caused people to have the balls and just say anything, I could've reacted with violence, but thinking before you take action matters. They wanted me to react, but until you all know how it feels to be in my skin just stop saying ridiculous comments. I had bus drivers making me late to class on purpose, 2 days in a row. Just because he's elected president people feel the need to have power. People need to start standing up and actually talk. He's not even in office yet.. like I said the Citizens is going to be the problem. WAKE UP!
