Sr. Java Developer

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
This position is for a development specialist with 7 years of development experience, who will be responsible for Analysis, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, and Deployment Preparation and Setup for Java enterprise applications. Candidate must have proven experience in core Java technologies, EJB, JSF with Rich Faces, Spring and MVC frameworks.
Any previous experience working on integrating Java application with Siebel using EAI would be of particular interest.
Candidate must have multiple years of experience in:
· Java web interface development skills – JSF with Rich Faces, Servlets, JSPs, HTML, AJAX, Javaskript, and CSS.
· Implementing Java Server Faces (JSF version 1.1 and 1.2), RichFaces, Spring Webflow and Facelets.
· Upgrading and troubleshooting current application on JSF 1.1 to latest JSF version.
· JMS, Spring/ Hibernate, EJBs, Application deployment on Weblogic Application server in Unix environment.
Day to Day activities for Java developer:
· Participate with team of technical staff to Analyze, Design and Code current Java enterprise application based on business requirements.
· Develop or review development of test protocols using JUnit for testing application before user acceptance.
· Interact with Configuration Management, System Test and Operations team as required.
· May provide, or guide provision of technical support to applications currently in production and may troubleshoot and resolve production support issues as an L3 participant.
