No doubt we have double standards? well, majority of us. We are so used to hearing Nepal as the only Hindu nation. Therefore, realization of the existence of various ethnic minorities (among them muslim) and their importance is a rude awakening for many. No wonder execution of 12 Hindu Nepalese in Iraq generated hue and cry, whereas capture of a Nepalese of muslim origin Iraq has not received much concern at sajha or elsewhere. Or may be it?s the number? Just one Nepali will get slaughtered? "If" the insurgents considering his religion freed the captured Nepali, I won't be surprised to see him (a muslim!) shunned by his fellowmen for coming back alive! And may be we will get to see more anti Muslim rhetoric in sajha.
