who says colleges wont accept u while ur only status is TPS ? check ur facts before giving suggestions @ny2. some colleges offer instate tuition too but they have different criteria for how long u had been under TPS to qualify for instate.
only benefit of reinstating is to be SUPER SAFE, in case TPS doesn't get renewed. @MrP, its your life, make ur own call. whether u want to take a chance or not.
@MrP, provided TPS gets extended, u can go to college (PT/FT, doesnt matter), graduate, get a job and can be sponsored for GC. its only because u were in status before u applied for TPS. For those who were out of status before applying for TPS and want AOS, u guys are out of luck. Ur only options are either marry a citizen or wait for congress to pass "AOS for TPS recipients of Nepal" law or wait for congress to pass immigration reform.
