I just got the same exact letter in my mail as you did so many years ago. My wife who we had applied as F2 as my dependant, and I had applied for F1 for myself ( change of status from B2), my wife is alps listed as f1 on the approval notice that we received today. Can you please tell me how you resolved this issue? What should I do? Please do reply back as I'm very worried. Thanks!
